Located just a five-minute walk along the waterfront next to the beautiful Amfora hotel, this is the city's largest and most popular beach.
Pokonji Dol beach
The largest pebble beach in the town of Hvar, where you will surely enjoy the crystal clear sea and delicious dishes from nearby restaurants. The beach is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and you can explore the nearby coves by canoe or paddle boat.
Sandy beach of Palmižana
The beach is also located on the Pakleni islands - more precisely on the island of Klement. This magical beach can only be reached by taxi boat that runs daily from the island of Hvar.

The easiest, most straightforward way to reach one of the islands is by a taxi boat from Hvar Town. Enquire in the harbour; boats travel regularly. Taxi boats cost about 7 Euros return; make sure the boat is going to the Pakleni island of your choice!
